Hello,

I was looking at the list of promo video clips Stefan put out for Charles
and became painfully aware the there are four that I do not have.

They are:
Thankyou Fot Hearing Me
Famine (I am assuming this one just came out. Now a days
the only time you can get video of Sinead is on
MTV's 120 mins. which airs at 12:00am to 2:00am
on Monday mornings in Portland Oregon USA).
All Apologies
You Do Something To Me

You seem to have them all so I am assuming you just forgot "Silent Night"
Sinead almost done "Evita", Now that one is one I will always regret
missing and its the only time I wish she would not of done what she had
to do at the perticular time she made that decision, although I would
never question any of her decisions since I don't walk in her shoes.

I to would like to get copies of the above.

Dear list,

There was also a promo clip for Jah Wobble's "Visions of You" single.
Sinead has short hair and is wearing a long sleaved purple shirt. I saw it
in 1992 but haven't got a copy of it.

Hello,

I bought a cd which is very hard to get (I Think, if not I'm sorry). But
because it was this rare I also ordered it a few months ago, and this order
also arrived. So now I have 2 cds...

It is the cd called "Stay Awake", on this cd are several Walt Disney
interpretations by various artists.

One of those songs is Sineads version of "Someday My Prince Will Come"
(from Snow White and the seven dwarfs) it's a nice song, but very short.
(about 1:30) so it is only interesting for real collectors.

I don't know the price yet (tomorrow I will receive my order) but it won't
be that high.

So if you are interested E-mail me.
I don't need high bids, just the first one who mails me and is willing to
pay the same price (plus post and packaging) as I did can have it.

BTW; If you wanna trade it against The Ungodly Kingdom from Jah Wobble or
the Japanese edition of Am I Not Your Girl, then it surely is yours, I even
wanna pay extra money :-) I REALLY NEED THOSE.

I can only use the PAL/SECAM system. And can only dub on PAL/SECAM.

Isn't there anybody who has some live-recordings besides the official
recordings and the three bootleg cd's ????
I just collected about 8-10 dates.

Hello,

Finally the lyrics will be placed again.
It took some time but here they are for today.
There is a new "member" of the lyric-team (or is there a better word that
doesn't sound this official).
Stefan Lundell <T91_LUN@t.kth.se>, will help now and in the future (besides
Roman Sendrey and me). Maybe in a year all the lyrics will be done.

         The Foggy Dew
         -------------
A song Sinead did on The Chieftains
cd called "The Long Black Veil"
         -------------

As down the glen one Easter morn
To a city fair rode I,
Their armed lines of marching men
 In squadrons passed me by.
No pipe did hum, no battle drum
 Did sound its loud tattoo
But the Angelus' bells o'er the Liffey's wells
Rang out in the foggy dew.

Right proudly high in Dublin town
Hung they out a flag of war.
'Twas better to die 'neath an Irish sky
Than at Suvla or Sud el Bar.
And from the plains of Royal Meath
 Strong men came hurrying through;
While Brittania's Huns with their long-range guns
Sailed in through the foggy dew.

The bravest fell, and the requiem bell
 Rang mournfully and clear
For those who died that Easter-tide
In the springing of the year.
While the world did gaze with deep amaze
At those fearless men but few
Who bore the fight that freedom's light
Might shine through the foggy dew.

And back through the glen I rode again
And my heart with grief was sore
For I parted then with valiant men
Whom I never shall see more
 But to and fro
 In my dreams I go
And I kneel and pray for you
 For slavery fled
 Oh, glorious dead
When you fell in the foggy dew

I have that one... it's a strange one, it is. Her song is actually just
1:07 long... and it's just guitar and her.. it's very sweet.

She does backing vocals (or at least is in the video miming them)

The single for Famine was officially "Famine/All Apologies"... on my copy.

Hello,

>All apologies

>has never been a single...

The video for All Apologies does exist. It is featured on the
promotional video for "Famine", although I don't think that MTV will
ever show it. Sadly, since it is a great video...

All the best,
Stefan

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that there
is a tiny picture of Sinead in the back of the magazine Young
and Modern. It is an extremely weird picture, something about
an imitation of Dumbo. You guys have got to see it. William

Haunted - Shane MacGowan & Sin=E9ad O'Connor

   sin=E9ad:

somewhere in london in the middle of nowhere
didn't have nothing to do that day
didn't wanna do nothing anyway

   shane:
you got a way of walking
   sin=E9ad:
you got a way of talking
   shane:
and there's something about you
   sin=E9ad:
and now i know i never ever wanna be without you

   both:
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost=20
i wanna be haunted by the ghost

   sin=E9ad:
of your precious love
of your precious love

   shane:
first time i saw you standing in the street
you were so cool you could have put out Vietnam
   sin=E9ad:
all the girls ask "what's he like?"
i said "he's kind of shy but that's the kind of girl i am
he's my kind of guy"

   both:
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost=20
i wanna be haunted by the ghost

   sin=E9ad:
of your precious love

   shane:
of your precious love

   sinead:
of your precious love

   shane:
i've build my world around you
i'll bless the day i found you

   sin=E9ad:
i'll stay beside you
i'll never leave or tell you all those

   both:
lies that you'd never believe

   both:
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost=20
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost
i wanna be haunted by the ghost=20
i wanna be haunted by the ghost

Actually Marcel, I think he's right about this. No, Sinead is not
featured in the song "Private Revolution", but she does in fact appear in
the video for it. I've only ever seen a little bit of the video, but
she's just hiding behind a tree while Kurt Wallinger is singing/posing.

Oh, and you forgot one important video Sinead has appeared in...
it's her very first (before "You Do Something To Me") video appearance
where she's wearing a wig! Yeah, really. Remember her amazing duet with
Matt Johnson in THE THE's "Kingdom Of Rain"? Yes, that's really her in
the video.

Also, she appears briefly in animated form in some really crappy Rod
Stewart video - I can't remember the name.

     trawets.

that one was called "sweet soul music", i think. they made funny cartoons
of many celebrities and sinead was one of them. she was standing in front
of the mirror with a razor in her hand shaving her head. suddenly a little
dog jumped up and she did cut herself. in the next scene you see her with
lots plasters on her head... ;-)

Someone recently sent me a jpeg of Sinead performing in a skin tight,
sheer top. Has anyone seen her in such an outfit, or is this a fake?

    Middle of the island
    ====================
 A song Sinead did together

with Cristy Moore on Cristy's
       album "Voyage"
-----------------------------
everybody knew, nobody said
a week ago last tuesday
she was just fifteen years
when she reached her full therm
she went to a grotto
in just a field
in the middle of the island
to deliver herself
her baby died
she died
a week ago last tuesday
it was a sad slow stupid death for them both
everybody knew, nobody said
at a grotto
in a field
in the middle of the island

it was a sad slow stupid death for them both
everybody knew, nobody said

BTW; Am I the only one who receive these lyrics by the list with the weird
screen codes ??? The word Sinead is changed (with every lyrics I receive by
the list) in sin=E9ad and at the end of some lines is =20 printed....
I receive it this way, ever since I started posting the lyrics...
So am I the only one, who receives it this way....
Is this because I use Eudora, or what else can be the reason (High
ASCII-codes ??)

Sinead's contribution to 'nothing but a she thing', called 'women of
ireland', is wonderful! She sings in gaelic(?) with very minimal
instrumentation -- perfect for her beautiful voice. Unfortunately, the
rest of the disc (from my brief listen) isn't as appealing.

BTW; I am thinking of sending ones the discography to everybody who is
interested. It will be send in more than 1 part so you don't need to convert
it from a packed/encoded file.
I will build a adress list this week and on the end of the week it will be send.
It is much larger then the version you can find on the Sinead-home page.
So if you're interested let me know, and I will send it to you end this week.

Hello,

I hope I was on time sending this one;

John I Love You
---------------

John I love you
I'm ever so fond of you
Will you wait for me
'Til I am heavenly
Oh there's much work to do
But I love you

Oh you're tender
Your name's a whisper

I let tears fall like rain
Apple-sized they were
All over her
And through all of those times
When you could have died
This is what you find

There's life outside your mother's garden
There's life beyond your wildest dreams
There hasn't been any explosion
We're not spinning like Dorothy
If you look now then you'll see why
Don't be afraid to cry
This time don't let yourself fly
Child
Pick up those dancing shoes
Kick off those wedding blues
These are the ways
You can choose

Child you're tender
Your name's a whisper

There's life outside your mother's garden
There's life beyond your wildest dreams
There hasn't been any explosion
We're not spinning like Dorothy
And if you look now then you'll see why
Don't be afraid to cry
This time don't let yourself fly
Child
Pick up those dancing shoes
Kick off those wedding blues
These are the ways
You can choose

Child I love you
I'm ever so fond of you

i also think you are missing the songs that sinead did with world
party. she sings back up, and it is (supposedly) the VERY first video
appearance of sinead. so you definitely need it.

i don't remember if i have it on tape or not. i should look....i
thought i did, but i might have erased over it....

         The Foggy Dew
         -------------
A song Sinead did on The Chieftains
cd called "The Long Black Veil"
         -------------

As down the glen one Easter morn
To a city fair rode I,
Their armed lines of marching men
 In squadrons passed me by.
No pipe did hum, no battle drum
 Did sound its loud tattoo
But the Angelus' bells o'er the Liffey's wells
Rang out in the foggy dew.

Right proudly high in Dublin town
Hung they out a flag of war.
'Twas better to die 'neath an Irish sky
Than at Suvla or Sud el Bar.
And from the plains of Royal Meath
 Strong men came hurrying through;
While Brittania's Huns with their long-range guns
Sailed in through the foggy dew.

The bravest fell, and the requiem bell
 Rang mournfully and clear
For those who died that Easter-tide
In the springing of the year.
While the world did gaze with deep amaze
At those fearless men but few
Who bore the fight that freedom's light
Might shine through the foggy dew.

And back through the glen I rode again
And my heart with grief was sore
For I parted then with valiant men
Whom I never shall see more
 But to and fro
 In my dreams I go
And I kneel and pray for you
 For slavery fled
 Oh, glorious dead
When you fell in the foggy dew

for this week's segment of newmusic (tues at 5:30 here on the west coast) on
much music (canada's answer to mtv, in case the rest of the world was
wondering) and they're going to do a segment on sinead! I haven't seen
this ad personally, so sorry if this info isn't correct!?!

Hello,

I already received some E-mails from people who want the discography, but I
think there are more people who want it, also because I received more
question about this last months, those people didn't reply untill yet.

It will be send in multiple parts so you don't have to unpack and/or decode
them.

Remember I just send it out once at the end of the week !

Hello!
I have an extra "My special child" single ("7") and I am interested in
trading it against almost any bootleg recording copied onto a
tape. (TV-performances, songs she only performes at concerts, etc.)
The B-side of the single is the live-version of "Nothing Compares To You",
which is just incredibly beautiful.

Josey Walsh - Sinead O'Connor & Jah Wobble
from "The Ungodly Kingdom EP"

her body lies under ashen skies
she travelled far with no guiding star
deep down inside an angel cries
suffer the children in quiet despair
love soon come my only prayer

refrain:
josey walsh come back
all is forgiven
josey walsh come back
no kindness forbidden
heaven has you again
the angles sing away the pain

you sacred man of the heaven sent
did not survive to see 35
deep down inside and angel cries
she was once somebody's baby
someone's baby

refrain 2 x

her body lies under ashen skies
she's travelled far with no guiding star
deep down inside an angel cries
dying so lonely
seem like solitude

refrain

it only made sense when she was under the influence
and she fell into decline to the soundtrack from patsy cline, patsy cline

refrain 2x

This song was done in 1993 by the one-time band "Peace Together"of which
Sinead was a member. All the profits they made with this song (and album)
were used for a trust fund in support of cross-community activities for
young people in Northern Ireland.

Be Still (Robin Guthrie remix)
==============================

Children be still,

Lace curtains drawn,
for self respect
ripped down and torn
Now the neighbours will never forget
don't let them forget

Time get hard then get harder still
I will be still

crack in the pain
the gap between
those who remain
those who have been
I'm cracked, I'm scratched
Bloody but one thing
one thing stays the same

Time get hard then get harder still
I will be still
Time get hard then get harder still
I will be still

Children be still
children be still

Birthday present
from the rag & bone shop
a heart that works to well
a heart that won't stop
beating
but sometimes I wish it would stop

Time get hard then get harder still
I will be still
Time get hard then get harder still
I will be still
Time get hard then get harder still
I will be still
Time get hard then get harder still
I will be still

Children be still
children be still
children be still

hi all -

Well, my friend wasn't dreaming - sinead was on muchmusic last night.
They showed the video for 'famine' as well as old clips (interviews,
videos, live footage from glastonbury and lolla here in vancouver)
and a new (at least to me!) interview at glastonbury this summer. The
interview was strange because sinead was talking about serious issues
like the meaning of 'famine' but her son kept interrupting the interview
by putting fingers on top of her head and sticking his tongue out behind
her and making goofy faces! Sinead didn't seem to mind -- she just kept
on talking. She mentioned how 'the mists of avalon' was one of her
favourite books. Also, she was wearing a t-shirt that said 'if you think
i'm a bitch, you should see my mother' and talked about how she had
earned the right to wear it.

Oh and i guess that compilation cd, 'ain't nuthin' but a she thing', is
a benefit for women's health programs...

jenny.

Scorn Not His Simplicity
(Phil Coulter)
------------------------

See the child
With the golden hair
He'd eyes that show the emptiness inside
Do we know
Can we understand just how he feels
Or have we really tried

See him now
As he stands alone
And watches children play a children's game
Simple child
He looks almost like the others
Yet they know he's not the same

Scorn not his simplicity
But rather try to love him all the more
Scorn not his simplicity
Oh no
Oh no

See him stare
Not recognizing the kind face
That only yesterday he loved
The loving face
Of a mother who can't understand what she's been guilty of

How she cried, tears of happiness
the day the doctor told her it's a boy
Now she cries tears of helplessness
and thinks of all the things he can't enjoy

Scorn not his simplicity
But rather try to love him all the more
Scorn not his simplicity
Oh no
Oh no

Only he knows how to face the future hopefully
Surrounded by despair
He won't ask for your pity or your sympathy
But surely you should care

Scorn not his simplicity
But rather try to love him all the more
Scorn not his simplicity
Oh no
Oh no
Oh no

Greetings to the people on the list.

About a week ago, Anne Solberg was asking what had happened with the cover
tape project, and where she was supposed to send her contribution.

I'm still asking myself the same thing. And I just received a message from
Cyrille Fraisse, asking me if I knew anything more about that. But I
don't...

So, what do we do? It would be a pity if we give up on the project.

Thanks for any information on this, and my best regards to all.

Nico.

Since everyone's been posting lyrics lately, I was wondering if someone
could post the lyrics to "The Value of Ignorance."

Charles in Chicago
P.S. there was someone in Chicago with Sinead videos that
I emailed with, but don't remember exactly who...
Is there a way we could arrange that collection-sharing deal?

Nico & All -

I saw Cyrille's post on the 18th and posted the following on the 20th:

>Cyrille, and everyone else:

>No boundries on the cover tape, my own take on VALUE is pretty different
>sounding.
>
>As far as contributing more that one track, feel free. There are only about

Since then, I've waited for any reply by anybody, and have been left
feeling as though nobody was into it or something. As I said, my recording
is sitting here all lonesome. If you have one, send it to me and we can get
this (Universal) mother together.

Thanks - Todd

Well, it seems that there has been some problem with the list, cos I

The Problem:

Most companies require a pre-employment drug test.
If you are seeking employment, on probation, or in
the military, you will have to take a drug test.

Another Problem:

Eating the wrong breakfast, or using certain over-the-
counter pain relievers will falsely identify you as
                a drug user.

The Real Problem:

Public and private employers spend 1.2 billion
dollars each year (1992 figures) on drug tests that
are unreliable and inaccurate. Even hard working
employees that do not use drugs are at risk.

                                 The Solution:

                       ================================

Know the Facts.

Know what foods and over the counter medicines are routinely
mistaken for common illegal drugs. Simply eating a poppy seed
bagel before a drug test can identify you as an opiate user.

Know how long different illicit drugs can be detected in your
system. Marijuana can be detected for more than a month if
nothing is done to conceal its use.

Know the different types of drug tests, especially the ones
you are likely to face. GC/MS tests are almost impossible to
beat, but are seldom used. The more common EMIT test is
much easier to fool -- if you know how.

Be Prepared!

Know when the test is coming. Do not use illicit drugs, or
ingest cross-reactive substances before the test.

Clean your system of drug metabolites and cross-reactive
        substances.

Drink plenty of water and urinate as often as possible before
the test. Do NOT give them your first urine of the day!

Use Clean 'n Clear.

Clean 'n Clear is a three phase system designed to Clean out
your body, so you will give Clear urine and Clear the test.

The Problem:

Most companies require a pre-employment drug test.
If you are seeking employment, on probation, or in
the military, you will have to take a drug test.

Another Problem:

Eating the wrong breakfast, or using certain over-the-
counter pain relievers will falsely identify you as
                a drug user.

The Real Problem:

Public and private employers spend 1.2 billion
dollars each year (1992 figures) on drug tests that
are unreliable and inaccurate. Even hard working
employees that do not use drugs are at risk.

                                 The Solution:

                       ================================

Hello.

First of all, I want to apologize for posting this message to the list. It
has nothing to do with Sinead, but it's about another mail, which was not
related AT ALL with the list's purpose.

Today we received this ad called "Are You Prepared". I don't like this at all.

First of all, I think nobody should post unwanted messages to a mailing
list. JITR is there for Sinead stuff.

But this one is even worse, because it's an AD. And therefore, it's just a
digital form of junk mail. I sincerely think that N-O-B-O-D-Y has the right
to send junk mail to your e-mailbox. This is not a law, but it is an
essential part of what we are supposed to call "netiquette".

Just imagine for a second what could happen if every company that has
something to sell to you (and there are _lots_ of them!!) starts sending
you ad-mail.

Mail on the Net is free, and it is extremely easy to set up some really
*HUGE* mailings. It would be a disaster.

This kind of actions should be stopped immediately, IMHO.

If you think that it's no big deal to receive such messages, and it did not
bother you, then please disregard this one and trash it away. Sorry for
having disturbed you.

But if you happen to think the way I do, please send a mail to the person
who posted the ad...

                       Peter Quizert
                    peterqz@primenet.com

...and tell him that he should stop doing that, simply because it bothers
the other e-mail users, and because there are other ways to advertise
without attempting against the spirit of the Net.

Once again, excuse me for posting this. But I really HATE this kind of thing.

Thank you,
Nicolas.

Hello:

FYI

I just complain to the postmaster of the internet service provider
that that person (Peter someone) used.

(For those that do not know. The postmaster is the person
who has authority to deal with email complaints. e.g. abuse and the such)
(The postmaster's address for a site is usually postmaster@this.sites/name.)

I got an automated response.

Seems his account was suspended and he is now being
charged with the time it is taking to deal with the complaints.

What a happy story.

That's it.

Hello,

Infact I was writing this to someone personally but after I wrote it, I
thought I may also be nice to place it in the mailing list and newsgroup.

MY SINEAD-LIFE

(BTW; if you don't wanna read this you can skip it !! :-))

1988; There was a song on the radio I loved. After some time my neighbour
had the cd of a person called Sinead (and this singer was BOLD :-)). After
hearing the entire album I ran to the cd-store and bought it also together
with the cd-single (Mandinka) Since then I bought all albums and singles I
knew of via the radio and top40. That goes on to 1993.
Between all the years there where the incidents (Pope, abortion action,
"star sprangled banner" on concerts, IRA, her own abortion etc etc) and I
thought she really has good ideas/ideals/statements. I loved them all,
esspecially "FIGHT THE REAL ENEMY" which was also on the dutch news and in
the newspapers !!!!
I saw her several times live on tv with some festivals, and thought she
really sings false live (still think so :-)), but was great.

1993; One moment I heard an album of Peter Gabriel....DAMN wasn't that
Sinead ??? Is she doing the same thing as prince does that costs me already
a lot of money (talking about guest-appearances). Yeah...Damn I really have
to find out which album this is and what else she did.
I placed an add on teletext (text tv or how you call it). About 3 people
responded but just one knew more then I did. He gave me a list of almost
them all. But again damn; I lost it (just as his name, adress, telephone nr)
But I bought as much as I could remember (quit a few)
Even some bootlegs of her and all cd-singles I could find on record/cd fairs.

1994; november 10th; All my cd's (350) where stolen. So I had to start all
over again. But started with buying Prince cds from 2 collectors who were
selling their own collections and together they almost had what I had. But
then the money was already gone, just had enough money to buy the albums of
Sinead.

1995; January 20th; DAMN, NOT AGAIN !!!! Yep again; everything was stolen by
the same people probably. So again I had to start over again. But now I even
had the bad luck there wasn't a Prince collector who was selling his collection.
So going from fair to fair, shop to shop, private collections to private
collections, I have now (november 12th 1995) the entire Prince collection
back which I had before (just miss the guest appearance and "writing" cd's
but have it on tape)
1995 february; still no items of Sinead exept for the albums, but there was
the news that sinead is going to preform on a dutch festival (PINKPOP). This
would be her 1st real concert since years.
I was doubing about going or not (I could use the money for Prince of which
I had 7 concerts to go to in march 1995 in Holland, England and Belgium.)
But my girlfriend who also likes Prince and Sinead really wanted to go to
Sinead. So I bought tickets.........
But infact with the same feelings as I always buy tickets of artists besides
Prince. (By him I go to the stadium 2 days before the real concert, just to
be sure I'm in front of the row :-)) We see a concert almost every month, so
nothing special. And also there are more artists of which I bought all
singles and/or in the early days before the 1st burglary (Bjork, Roger
Waters, Tom Waits, etc etc). But to be honest Sinead had something special
but never give notice to that (and my feelings for her :-))
March; all the Prince concerts....FUN, PARTY, GETTING A KICK, TRAVELLING,
GETTING VERY TIRED, GETTING HIGH ON THE MUSIC (AND HASJ :-) which is legal
in Holland and I only smoke during concerts).
So I really forgot about the Sinead concert in April (or was it May ?? :-))
But then it was april (or was it May :-)), Sinead has her concert soon, so I
started listening (as my own rehearsal) to her albums, I liked it but just
like I like Bjork etc.
The Concert; I don't know why but I wanted to start in front, so we had some
fights during a concert of some heavy-metal bands (like BIHAZARD, HENRI
ROLLINS etc) which where on the same stage as she would come later on, my
girlfriend even broke her nose during one of those fights. But we really got
in front, infact we came in the first row (my girlfriend wanted to stay even
if her nose was broken).
Finally there she was, in leather pants, T-shirt, nice haircut and a big
smile with nervousity because of this 1st real-concert since years)
Seeing her was enough to fall in love with this girl, I was in 7th heaven
even she still didn't sing :-)) (My heart was making extra hours)
Then she started singing; I saw a real normal person like you and me (Prince
is somebody not for real and far away from real live) she loved to sing
again and liked how much people where looking at her. Her songs where real,
they gave her the emotions which should give her, she really sang what she
felt. And I loved it every note of it. BTW; She surely sings false live but
who cares ????
What she sung was the truth, and I felt it also (during one song I even
cried), and the other songs gave me a cold feeling (or was it because of the
rain :-))
She gave 2 encores and it lasted about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
At home my video was roling to record it, so when we came home from the
concert at 01.00 A.M. we started the video and watched it all again.
I really fell in love with her, not just because of her body, but also
because of what kind of personality I saw she was.
Since then I never got over this love.
The day after the concert I went to Amsterdam and bought everything I could
find. One day later I started looking on Internet for information, there had
to be something because of Prince you can find over a 100 pages, there are
about 5 mailing-lists and an own newsgroup.......
But I was wrong, the only thing I could find was the WWW-page but that one
didn't have much info of sinead (just mentioned her albums and the songs on
it). So I started E-mailing to the person of who this page is, and he either
didn't know of something more. (Maybe I'm misstaken but I think it was him.)
The only other thing I found was an E-mail adress of Jason Boardman (the one
who made a start with a discography) But he didn't reply.
After a long search I found the adress of the mailing list, and that's where
it all started. I got to know Roman and may others who told me what
songs/albums etc did exist.
I bought them all (for some strange reason I even could find the rare ones
in just a few days) and it costed me a lot of money. But now I almost have
the complete discography on the original cd's. I just collect the songs on
cd, so I don't have the collectors items all the vinyl-versions, etc etc. If
an items only contains songs I already have on another cd, I don't buy it.
But I kept up my own data-bank (in fact thats the "song-list"-part of the
discography I made) and had the discography Jason made which wasn't comlete
at all, not even the half of what I had was included.
And because I already had my own list and because I like to make lists. I
started with updating Jasons discography. But I added so much and changed
the lay-out that much that I think I can say it's my discography.
Ofcourse I had a lot of work with that, but the help I got from a lot of
members on the list for this discography, also meant I got all the info I
needed to complete my own collection. So while everybody was helping me
updating the discography I also was busy completing my own collection (and
still am, allthough it's almost as complete as I want it to be).
I love her music and fell in love with the person who sings it.
Now I really am a big addict, probably more addicted as I am to Prince, but
that changes every day. One day I'm a Prince addict and the next I'm a
Sinead addict.
During this "Internet-periode" I wanted to have more info on the net about
Sinead (which is veeerrrrryyyy little compared to Prince). So I started
transcribing and collecting and publicing (again) all the lyrics of songs
she did, and recently I started the newsgroup with the help of others
(ALT-MUSIC-SINAED <--- incl. the typmismatch which was done by someone else)
At the moment I'm still playing her (and his) music every day, looking for
missing items of them both every day, and E-mailing with other fans of them
both every day.
So I've got a very busy Sinead/Prince live. Sometimes I also have to work to
get the money I use for it (infact I have to work for the money every day :-))

So that's my story.

Hope you liked it.

Tell me your story.

What is this? Did someone write to the list?

Everyone in the US knows about all this. It has been picked up by the
media because it was Sinead (and her baldness). I can still remember all
of these, but the 2 I most remember is the Pope incident on SNL and the
"star spangled banner" incident and the old crooner Sinatra wanting to
kick her out of US.

Should I mention how many times I saw her live? Read on if you are
interested.

What country are you from? It must be those fanatic Sinead and Prince fans.

> I had 7 concerts to go to in march 1995 in Holland, England and Belgium.)
I think that is the difference with Prince. In this country, Prince only
had 2 (that I know of) shows that were cross country. Sure he had some
shows in his home state, but I think he only came to the Wash DC area
twice. Prince is more commercially successful overseas.

You made the right choice.

Prince can not fill a stadium in the US.

Our school server does not have access (yet).

Since you asked, here is my Sinead encounter. I already told you
(Marcel) that my brother had an encounter with her, but let me give you
my story.

I guess I could start off by mentioning that I love dance music of all
kinds. The first time I head Sinead was a track called Mandinka. Did I
know it was her? No way. It was at a club. I quickly went up to the DJ
booth as I often do to get the info on this track. Who is Sinead? I had
no idea. I have never heard of her before. So I went around shopping as
I often do for music. I

Hello,

At a fair I bought a Japanese 3" promo cd-single of Three Babies.
It is never used.
But because I don't collect special items and I also found the normal
5"cd-single I wanna sell this one.
It's not cheap I know, but if you want the Japanese item it's $28.00 (the
same price I payed for it UK-pounds 15.00)

Tiny Grief Song
===============

I'd a terrible broken heart
I'd a terrible broken heart
I'd a terrible broken heart
I'd a terrible broken heart

You were born on the day my mother was buried.
My grief, my grief, my grief, my grief, my grief.
You were born on the day my mother was buried.
My grief, my grief, my grief, my grief, my grief.
